We know that no one likes to simply cancel a trip they have booked and have been looking forward to. We swear we would never do that and we are sure, neither would you unless something unexpected comes up. And when you have to cancel a trip [ie, when you are already pissed-off], the last thing you would need is a confusing or complex cancellation & refund policy.
So we have tried to keep it very simple. This is how it goes.
For Fixed Departure Tours
- 50% refund if canceled up to 45 days before the start of the trip.
- 25% refund if canceled between 44 and 30 days before the start of the trip.
- No refund if canceled within 30 days from the start of the trip.
- No refund if you have to leave a trip in the middle.
For Custom Trips
- 70% refund if canceled up to 45 days before the start of the trip.
- 50% refund if canceled up to 44-31 days before the start of the trip.
- No refund if canceled within 29 days from the start of the trip.
- No refund if you have to leave a trip in the middle.
- The GST component of the trip cost is NOT refunded.
If a particular trip has its own Cancellation and Refund Policy (Group Trips only) attached to it, then THAT policy will be applicable for the trip in question. The policy above is only applicable if a trip has no Cancellation and Refund Policy attached to it.
Rescheduling charges will be the same as the Cancellation charges, as mentioned above. However, rescheduling is purely based on availability on the newly requested dates.
In case a trip gets canceled due to any unforeseen or unavoidable situation around your travel dates [strikes, natural disasters, or something similar] beyond our control, we will do our best to re-schedule your trip to some other date to your liking. If you are on a tight schedule and a change of dates does not work for you while booking, we will give you a credit shell of the full trip cost which can be used to book another trip of your liking within the next 365 days.
Any cancellation or rescheduling requests due to personal reasons would incur charges as mentioned above.
Cancellation Due To COVID nation-wide/region-wide situation
** If there are any unexpected changes on the ground as a result or related to the COVID – 2019 pandemic and your trip gets canceled, you will be eligible for a free rescheduling of your trip within a period of one year or until things on the ground change and tourism resumes again, whichever is later. You can also transfer your credit shell amount to a friend or family if you feel you will not be able to come down for the trip. In case any expense such as govt. permits etc. have already been incurred and are non-refundable in nature, that cost will be passed on to the guest.
Sadly, the GST cannot be refunded for any canceled trips.
Any non-refundable costs like govt. permits, etc. that might have already been incurred will also not be refunded/adjusted in the credit shell. The credit shell cannot be converted into cash or refunded. You can always transfer your credit shell to your friends or family.
